Q. Where are you located?
A. We are located at 5400 Main Street in Oakley. However if you would like to send us something, please send it to P.O. Box 1399 in Oakley.

Q. What do you believe?
A. We believe that Jesus Christ was God in human form on Earth. For a full list of what we believe please see our Statement of Faith.

Q. What are your hours?
A. Our school hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:45a.m. to 3:15p.m. and Wednesday from 8:45a.m. to Noon.

Q. Do you provide before and after school care?
A. At this point, we do not offer before or after school care. However, we do offer a Homework Club most days from 3:15p.m. to 4:15p.m.

Q. How long have you been in existence?
A. We have been in existence since 1991.

Q. What denomination are you?
A. We are a non-denominational Christian school designed to meet the needs of the evangelical churches in our area.

Q. Are you affiliated with the church that you're located at?
A. We are not affiliated with any church. We rent rooms from any church that we are at.

Q. Is the school accredited?
A. Our curriculum is accredited. At this time, we are working toward accreditation for our school. However, because we are a small school, this is not an easy task.

Q. What curriculum do you use?
A. We use the PACE Curriculum from Accelerated Christian Education. This is an individualized curriculum that allows students to progress at their own speed.

Q. How much does it cost to enroll my child(ren)?
A. The amount per student is dependent on the age and number of the students in the family attending. Please see our Financial Information Sheet.

Q. What is the enrollment process?
A. First, call the office for an information packet. Then, meet with the administrator for a tour of the school. Finally, meet with the administrator for an enrollment appointment with your enrollment paperwork,enrollment fee, past school information and child(ren).

Q. Can my preschooler come to your Kindergarten?
A. Any student entering our Kindergarten program will be given a test to determine their readiness for Kindergarten.

Q. Is your Kindergarten program Full Day or Half Day?
A. Our Kindergarten is a full day program. It has education in the morning and activities in the afternoon.

Q. Do you go on Field Trips?
A. Yes, we try to go on at least 8 field trips a year. Four educational field trips are for learning new things. Four incentive field trips are for rewarding academic achievement. We try to do one of each every quarter.

Q. Do you have P.E.?
A. Yes, we do have Physical Education. Lower Division and Kindergarten have their P.E. on Tuesdays and Fridays. Upper Division and High School have their P.E. on Mondays and Thursdays.

Q. Do you have Extra Curricular Sports?
A. No. We are a small school and do not have the facilities for extra curricular sports. We do support students who do play sports elsewhere.

Q. Do you have Music and Art?
A. Yes. For Lower Division and Kindergarten, these are incorporated into the extra afternoon activities as well as preparing for Christmas and Graduation programs. Upper Division and High school get their Music and Art preparing for the two programs as well as entering projects into the Art and Science Fair.

Q. What do I need to do if I am transferring into your school?
A. Along with the rest of the enrollment process, students will need to undergo a series of Diagnostic Tests to determine where they need to start in our curriculum.

Q. Is your Kindergarten academic?
A. Yes, our Kindergarten is very academic. Our students learn to read using a Phonics based curriculum. They begin to sound out and read shortly after they learn their first two letters. They are able to read just about anything upon entering first grade.

Q. What qualifications do the teachers have?
A. All of our regular teachers have their Bachelor's degrees. Some have ACSI credentials. Some have state teacher's credentials. Some have Master's degrees and some have Doctorates. Our staff, as a total, has over 100 years of experience in the classroom with an average of 21 years.

Q. What is the ratio of Teachers to Kids?
A. Our ratio of teachers to students averages 1:8.

Q. Can we try your school out for a day or week?
A. Prospective parents and students may visit the school for an hour or two with the approval of the administrator. However, we do not accept students on a trial basis.
